A partnership between Boston Communities and Affordable Housing & Services Collaborative is proposing approximately 92 affordable apartments at 336-350 Rindge Avenue, along with ground-floor commercial space.
The proposal would redevelop two adjacent properties totaling 21,740 square feet. It is being reviewed under Cambridge's Affordable Housing Overlay, which is intended to make qualifying affordable housing developments easier to advance.
Why it matters
This is a substantial affordable housing proposal in an established neighborhood, but the homes are not approved or under construction. The November 10 Planning Board hearing is the next significant public milestone.
